I have grown up around horses being fortunate enough to have a horse orientated family. My mum specialised in bringing on problem horses and starting youngsters into their ridden career. I have helped with this from a young age. I got my first pony age 5 who was a freshly backed Sec A. I have helped back and school many youngsters and problem horses. At the age of 16 I went to equine college to get my Level 3 diploma in horse management. During my time in college I was able to improve my jumping and dressage. I have jumped up to 1m25 and done dressage to prelim level. In 2014 I spent some time in northern Ireland where I worked as a groom for a showjumping team. In this role I had to prepare the horses for the show, load the lorry and clean the tack, and make sure things went smoothly during the day. I was responsible for tacking up each horse appropriately.
-youngsters -calm approach -hard working -attention to detail -time keeping -grooming (clipping, plaiting, trimming, pulling) yard work (mucking out, horse care, field management) -grooming at shows -jumping -dressage -schooling
I am a highly adaptable quiet, but confident rider. Having mainly spent my time working with younger greener horses. I am competent schooling horses on the flat and over fences. I have jumped up to 1.25m and done dressage to prelim level. Although I havnt much competition experience I feel this is something I could suceed at. I have a good understanding of a horses correct way of going and how to achieve this.
I have done basic show level and achieved well. I could take this further if required.
