I have the highest grade in my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management with a Distinction*, I am also a first aider for people and posses my safeguarding certificate from the BHS. I am currently undergoing my BHS stages, so far I have my progressive tests from 1-6 with my first exam in December for my stage two. I plan to progress on my bhs stages until I am fully qualified within the bhs.
Riding (Exercising, Schooling, Lunging and Competing), yard work, stud work, handling young-stock, mares, stallions and geldings and various cleaning duties.
I am very confident with horses and conscientious to the perils and dangers horses may bring but able to deal with problems with a level head. I am currently work freelance in the week with excellent references from my clients from a variety of work; clipping, bathing, riding, yard work and sole charge over horses while their owners are away on holiday. Looking after large amounts of horses does not faze me as I currently own a large amount of native ponies, and breed from them - this is where my young-stock and stud experience is predominantly from. I show young-stock from foal to maturity and then break them in from there, I also have experience with taming free living foals from moors. I am usually unsupervised in my day to day tasks and clients have found me very trust worthy and efficient in my work and go above and beyond my duty to get things done, I also am found to be very initiative and carry out tasks without being guided if I see it is the right thing to do.

I have competition experience from HOYS, all major NPS classes and other disciplines and although ridden work is not required - I myself turn my ponies out to this standard and they always are to the highest standard I can get them and I continue to try new things to get them looking even better. High standards is important to me as I believe it pre determines what you are like as a employee and how you treat your own horses compared to employers horses.
