I am an apprentice at wellington riding and my main duties are catching horse mucking out clipping/pull/trimming, exercising horse, lunging and normal yard duties.
I have had horse in my life since i was 4 but gave it up when i was 10 then got back into it when i was 15 and been working with horses since then. I then whent to merrsit wood collage for 3 years and working at a riding school at weekends. I then after collage (2015) i then found wellington riding equestrian center, they offered me an apprenticeship and after 9 mounths of beeing an apprentice they wanted me to start teaching and have been teaching their sinice teaching a range of riders from 5 year olds to 75 year olds i also had to help teach desabled people to ride. I have worked with ponys ranging from falabella's to 17.3hh competition horses.
im a people person always up for a laugh, i have alot of patience with children and aldults and horses, my passion is to get as much experience as i can doing new and challangeing things with in the horse industry, im always eager to learn new things and will always try my hardest to help keep the horse and people happy. anything new that i havent done before i will try my very best to learn quickly and efficiently.
I can do flat work I can jump up to a meter but eager to jump bigger if requiered I can lung I can long rein but one a few time not much
I would love to start eventing but i do not have my own horse so i am looking for a job that would allow me to compete that would be amazing. i have done some competitions which are Intro A, B.D.preliminary 7, B.D.Preliminary 12, Prix Caprilli introductory level, B.D.Novice 28. Also alot of clear rounds.
