Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care (Haddon Training) 11 GCSE's at A*-C
Making sure targets were met. Communicating well with all types of people. Giving your best effort. Abiding by strict health and safety procedures. Working as a team in completing many tasks. In addition, being able to work independently.
I have been involved with a dis/abled riding school for 6 years; both volunteering and then becoming a member of staff. This has given me a really good, wide basis of knowledge. As well as this, I have improved my communication skills. I have ridden many different types of horses here through the years, including young horses just starting their career. This has really built up my confidence both on the ground and in the saddle. Whilst being there, I have built up my skills hacking, lunging, long-reining, loading, show prep and riding in shows. I have helped organise pony days here, which includes pairing the horse to the rider, setting up tasks and competitions. Being here has allowed me progress and purchase my first horse, who I still have today. This has allowed me to try many different things. I have taken part in showjumping competitions and cross country practices. I, also, have many friends with horses and enjoy helping them with them in all aspects.
I am hardworking and eager to please. I enjoy being busy and on my feet; I use my initiative to be independent but also can work well as part of a team. I am punctual and organised, which is very important in this area. I have good communication skills and have experience with many different types of people. I am eager to expand my knowledge and willing to try new things.
Good basic knowledge of many different areas: Schooling/flatwork Jumping/gridwork Cross Country Hacking
Low level dressage and showjumping. (Would like more experience)
