Qualifications

BHSQ Stage 2. Silver RideSafe. Completed stable management courses. First aid certified (human). Studying A-levels in Biology, Business Studies, Psychology, and Core Maths. Currently working at grades B and above however will finish exams in June 2026.

Duties of Current Occupation

Stable hand: mucking out, feeding, grooming, tacking up, riding. Yard assistant manager in the Kalahari: cattle farming, trail rides, endurance training, handling young horses, training green horses

Equine Work Experience

Competed in show jumping, dressage. Completed stable management courses.Completed BHSQ Stage 2 except lunge. Silver and Bronze Challenge Awards completed. RideSafe Silver completed. Assisted in training horses for endurence racing and namib warmbloods as ranch horses.

Specialities

Experience with young and green horses. Confident handling a variety of temperaments and breeds, experienced working with arabian horses and cobs. Comfortable working alone or as part of a team.

Type of Ride Work

Experience in flatwork, show jumping, basic dressage, hacking. Comfortable riding young and green horses.

Competition Details

Competed in local show jumping, dressage. EXperience in grooming, plaiting, tack cleaning, and turnout.
