Level 2 Certificate in Horse Care at Herefordshire and Ludlow College - Distinction. Level 3 Advanced Extended Diploma in Horse Management (2 years) at Herefordshire and Ludlow College - DDM.

Since I was 10, I have been around a variety of horses including show ponies. In 2019, I began studying Equine Management at Herefordshire and Ludlow College. I have completed my Level 2 Certificate in Horse Care (Distinction) and my Level 3 Advanced Extended Diploma in Equine Management in which I received a DDM.
Previous experience working with schoolmasters and inexperienced horses. My primary duties working as an equine student on the yard involved carrying out general yard duties (field and stable maintenance), grooming horses, tacking and untacking horses for clients, supervising lower-level students, and teaching other students riding lessons as part of a college module. I have plenty of experience working independently and as a team member to get jobs done safely and efficiently.
I have had the opportunity to ride a range of horses including schoolmasters, inexperienced horses, ex-competition horses, and horses that have the tendency to buck and spook at a leaf in the wind. These horses have varied in size and breed from ponies, an Anglo-Arab, Thoroughbreds, and a 19hh Shire. I have experience riding on the flat, jumping up to 70cm, and hacking out in company.
My previous competition experience is limited to small shows when I was younger and small college dressage competitions. I have experience organising a student Funday including gymkhana and other races. I have also helped out on the yard when they have held public events such as local dressage contests and fun rides.
