I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)

I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I have been working around the barn since I started riding. This includes cleaning stalls, feeding and other daily chores. I have also helped trainers with warming up horses, starting lessons, and tacking up horses. I have experience with breeding, handling emeregency situations, and basic management work.
I finished school at Linn Benton Community College with a Horse Management Degree in June 2013. I also have a Master's Degree in Education and have been teaching for 6 years.
The horse management program at Linn Benton Community College taught me basic business skills, continued building my skills in young horse training, I particiated in the breeding program, and I worked for the facility providing basic care for the horses.
I showed on the Equestrian Team for Linn Benton for 1 year in the hunter jumper ring, english, and western.
I interned at Wildwood Farms in Oak Harbor Washington as a barn manager.
I have been riding horses for 19 years. I have shown all around: showmanship, english eq. and pleasure, western eq. and pleasure, and trail. I have competed in Hunter Jumpers and three day eventing.
