We have a small well known stud in endurance and versatile horses: the Druimghigha Stud of Arabs and Part breds Arabs. We compete international in endurance and dressage ( up to Intemediaire 1). I study Equine behaviour, their minds and welfare and was the first Equine behaviour consultant. We do research to improve the quality of life of our animals. The job will be being trained in cooperative handling and riding up to a high standard, taking part in research projects, helping with all aspects of the running of the Organic farm and stud ( hay making, fence mending, building, exercising and educating equines ( and other animals if required), and integrating wildlife in our the nature reserve with food production. Accommodation provided and loan of motorcar when possible. Must be a rural lover, interested in hard work and enjoying the natural world. Energy and enthusiasm more important than qualifications. Will develop into a permanent job if all goes well.
