We are seeking a passionate and experienced instructor to join our close-knit team. You will provide expert guidance to riders of all ages and abilities in private and group lessons. Your main goal will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our clients while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group riding lessons tailored to each rider’s abilities.
- Teach horsemanship skills, including grooming, tacking up, and riding techniques.
- Evaluate rider progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the safety of riders and horses, and adhere to all safety protocols
- Prepare horses for lessons and contribute to their welfare.
- Assist with the care and maintenance of horses, tack, and equipment.
- Assist with riding programs, camps, pony parties, and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, parents, and staff.
We are looking for:
Minimum of five years of experience in horsemanship and horse training.
Strong riding skills in multiple disciplines, preferably Showjumping, Dressage, or Eventing, with coaching experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Passion for teaching and working with horses.
Working With Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
