Seeking Very Experienced enthusiastic Colt Starter Horseman or Horsewoman The duties include :

• The safe crush training young mares for Vet to AI safely in crush
• Handling and weaning foals
• Float load training
• Sales prep of young stock including helping with photo and DVD of horses
• Helping with foaling down and after care of 2 mares due end dec early Jan
• Breaking in a group of well handled 6 warmbloods turning 4 end of this year
• Haltering and training to lead a few unhandled brumby mares starting the younger ones and halter training their weaning age foals.
• Helping ground staff move horses to new pasture and any thing else they need a hand with vet emergency etc
• Farrier skill would be great but not essential.

This role will suit someone who is into Classical Dressage and Natural Horsemanship using only kind handling methods. I do breed Dressage and Show horses but do not mind a Horse Colt Starter with a Western back ground. I am looking for someone with extensive skill and experiences starting and educating horses so I can advertise them as well handled having the right start and ready to go on with and find them suitable homes. This is the goal.

• Open sided indoor dressage size arena with lights
• Under cover rubber lined round pen with light
• Yards
• Barn with stables and mare crush
• Hot water undercover wash bay
• Truck loading ramp
• 3 horse angle load float with extra height and length bays
• Roads around farm and open paddocks to ride in
• Horse obstacle course set up near arena

The job includes a private cottage nicely fully furnished with kitchen laundry. I will prefer someone who can work here and bill me with their own ABN but for overseas applicants I will offer an attractive full time wage agreement package. The earliest start date is from october.I will require references and DVD of riding and working on horses to be sent to my Whats App.

Fit healthy, relyable person with good checkable references. Must agree to random drug testing and police check. Previous relevant experience is required with previous stud work and ability to break in and train in basic dressage as well as have breakers quiet and safe to trail out around farm.
