Open position - breeding assistant

About the farm -

At Privilege SFQ, we are dedicated to excellence in the breeding, care, and presentation of Arabian horses. Nestled in northern Belgium at the heart of Europe, our boutique farm combines world-class facilities, superior genetics, and a team passionate about the Arabian breed and its future. We offer boarding for breeding stock and show horses, breeding program services, training and conditioning, and full-service farm expertise.

Main responsibility for this position -

The successful candidate will focus on organization, support, and execution, including: • Maintaining accurate breeding and veterinary records (mares, stallions, coverings, pregnancies, foal data, treatments, etc.) • Assisting the veterinarian during: • Reproductive checks • Ultrasounds • Treatments and procedures

• Coordinating breeding schedules as instructed by management and vet • Monitoring mares and foals and reporting observations to the vet/management • Supporting foaling season logistics and post-foaling follow-up • Communicating clearly with farm management regarding breeding status updates • Ensuring all records are up-to-date, structured, and accessible

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required • Previous experience in an equine breeding, veterinary, or stud-farm environment • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills • Comfortable working closely with veterinarians • Calm, observant, and confident handling breeding stock • High attention to detail and reliability • Good spoken and written English

- Experienced in stallion handling 

Available to EU Schengen passport holders only due to visa requirements.
