A reliable, responsible working student that seeks to learn about all facets of developing jumpers with a joyful attitude would be a good fit. We are close to Guelph, Ontario. The work is for morning routine, working in tandem with owner and solo at times. There are 2 horses at the moment and owner has a second career. Cleaning stables, turning out, preparing feed, minor repairs/ enhancements such as planting, and ground person during schooling sessions, helping at horse shows. Occasional riding is a possibility depending on level of candidate. Owner is licensed coach. Employee horse would be welcome next year as expansion is built. Position can work as a mentorship, exchange of lessons for work hours, or paid position depending on level and situation. Candidate must have their own transportation. Job is for 5 mornings a week until Oct 31st, and as needed in winter months, starting back up May 1st, 2027 for summer seasons.
