Private connemara yard looking for an extra hand for the coming months, starting as soon as possible.

Groom work -Turnout and bringing in the horses. -Preparing the horses for riding; grooming, tacking up. -Possiblility of hacking out the ponies for the right person with experience. !!No mucking out stables in the mornings!!

Yard Work -Keeping the yard to a clean standard. -Harrow the indoor/outdoor/bring water to the fields. !!All done with a tractor and will be shown to you!! -Very small maintenance tasks; repairing fences etc.

The candidate has to be kind and caring towards the horses. Mutual respect between horse and human is essential for this role.

Own cottage on site with individual bathroom, heater, kitchen, living area, etc.

Calm and good work atmosphere. Lifts available to the supermarket, train, etc. if needed. Ideally 5 hour/5 day working week. If more work wanted, it can be given!
