📍 Csánig, Hungary (9654) | 🏡 Accommodation from September | 🌍 EU citizens only (one Visa pending already!)
Are you passionate about horses and looking for more than just a job? Do you value progress over perfection, and want to grow with a place that’s still evolving – lovingly and purposefully?
We are a small horse farm in western Hungary with a special mission: We care for horses from all kinds of backgrounds – from rescued and traumatized, very ill animals to sport horses and our own youngstock. Emotional and physical welfare is at the heart of everything we do.
We live and work like a family, often joined by working students from around the world. Our team is young, international, and deeply committed to respectful, species-appropriate horsemanship.
Your Role: You’ll be working with a mix of horses: leisure horses, competition horses, and a number of rescued horses who are getting a second chance. Some have physical limitations or difficult pasts, others are easy-going and ready for new experiences.
A calm, safe, and respectful approach to working with horses is very important to us.
You'll support us with light stable work, ride and train horses, and – if suited – help rehabilitate more complex cases. You’ll also assist with prep and special treatments, and be a key part of ensuring our horses thrive.
Who You Are: You have solid experience with horses, a calm and mindful presence in the saddle, and are fluent in English or German. You’re curious, hands-on, and motivated to grow with us – not just work for us.
Why Join Us: This is more than just a position – it’s a place to connect, grow, and make an impact. You’ll find a warm, honest, and learning-driven environment – where your ideas truly matter.
Let’s build something meaningful – together.
Requirements
We respect your experience – but we’re not looking for someone who believes they already know everything. We’re much more excited about someone who’s eager to learn, grow, and explore new ideas, because we offer a wide range of internal and external training opportunities.

🏡 Accommodation Information We recently purchased a small house in the neighboring village, which we are currently renovating for our team. The house features two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a large garden with fruit trees.
As a team member, you’ll have access to this space. You’ll live in a spacious private room and, if another staff member is present you would share the kitchen and bathroom. The garden is freely available for you to relax, enjoy, or even grow your own herbs or vegetables.
The accommodation is connected to the farm by a local train line, and is also easily reachable by bicycle or car.
Job Benefits
We value respect – for both humans and animals – as one of our highest principles. Our team works with empathy, purpose, and a shared passion for growth.
We produce much of our own food, including home-grown vegetables and ethically raised meat, offering a close connection to nature and sustainable living.
There are numerous development and learning opportunities for team members: Whether it’s hoof care and trimming, or pursuing a certified saddle fitting education, we are happy to support individual growth. Please note that a longer-term commitment is required for formal certification paths.
Team spirit is not just a phrase for us – shared evenings playing billiards or table football, and spontaneous barbecue nights, are more the rule than the exception. Whether you join in or prefer quiet time for yourself is completely up to you – but you can be sure: This is more than just a job, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Equestrian Employer Details
Our stable is a private, horse-friendly facility where a variety of horses call home—foals, ponies, rescues, and sport horses. Beyond horses, we also have other animals like goats and sheep, making our farm a diverse and lively place.
At the heart of our facility is a strong pro-horse and pro-animal philosophy. We focus on creating a natural, supportive, and ethical environment for both our animals and the people who work with them. Our team consists of local employees who help us care for the horses and maintain the farm.
We are still in the process of developing our facility, so if someone is looking for a high-end, professional sport stable, this might not be the right fit. However, if you are passionate about horses, animal welfare, and want to be part of a growing, hands-on project, we’d love to hear from you!
