We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented individual to assist with the administrative and organisational side of our equestrian program. This role does not require full-time hours or daily on-site presence — it is ideal for someone who is efficient, self-directed, and able to help create structure and systems that keep the operation running smoothly.
The right person will work closely with management to streamline communication, maintain records, and organise the business side of a busy, professional barn.
• Assist with general administrative tasks, scheduling, and organisation • Manage emails, invoices, communication, and follow-ups as needed • Maintain horse records, vet/farrier logs, and show documentation • Help create structure, systems, and processes that keep the barn organised • Assist with show entries, paperwork, and planning • Coordinate appointments, deliveries, and services • Keep digital files, documents, and records up to date • Track expenses, receipts, and key deadlines • Occasionally assist with basic office tasks on-site (flexible) • Work alongside management to improve overall workflow and efficiency
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organisation, planning, and administration — and wants a flexible position that still plays a key role in a professional equestrian program.
If you enjoy planning, organising, and bringing structure to a fast-moving environment — and want a flexible role where your systems and ideas truly matter — we would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to support a high-standard equestrian program without needing to be in the barn every day.
Requirements
• Strong organisational and time-management skills • Good communication — clear, professional, reliable • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Comfortable with computers, digital filing, spreadsheets, and basic office tools • Equestrian knowledge preferred but not required • High attention to detail and ability to follow processes • Positive, professional attitude • Trustworthy with confidential information • Strong problem-solving skills
Accommodation
On-site accommodation is available for the right candidate. Housing is clean, private, and conveniently located on the property for anyone who prefers to live in. Live-in is optional for this position, as many tasks can be completed remotely or flexibly.
Job Benefits
• Flexible hours — does not require full-time or daily presence • Opportunity to work within a professional, well-structured program • A role where your organisational skills make a real impact • Supportive team environment • Ability to help shape and build systems from the ground up • Long-term potential to expand responsibilities if desired • Competitive compensation based on experience
