We are looking for a responsible, reliable & experienced rider to join our enthusiastic team ahead of the Breeze up season. Ideally somebody who would like a full time permanent position but we are also open to seasonal or part time riders. The job will involve all aspects of backing, breaking and riding with the possibility to travel to the sales too. For the full time position, all the usual yard work will also be expected once riding duties have been completed for the day. We are a large stud farm that can offer the right person the opportunity to build on their previous experience in the industry. Competitive package on offer with on site private or shared accommodation available in a modern bungalow.
Please note that riding 2yr old thoroughbreds is not the same as riding sport horses and we do require applicants to to provide history of previous appropriate experience along with all contact details when applying. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our team!

Equestrian Employer Details
We are a thoroughbred stud farm in the heart of County Kildare with approximately 70 broodmares. We prep over 70 yearlings for sales each year and also a smaller number of breeze up horses. We buy and sell at all major sales in Ireland, UK & France.
We also stand Flat stallions and offer oprtunity for our staff to learn in any of the areas of the stud they might prefer to work in. We do require that all staff have some previous experience with horses from a safety ascpect but we are happy to share our extensive knowledge to help them to progress within the industry. The size of our team of staff varies seasonally.
