We are looking for somebody to work the night watch in the foaling barn for the 2026 season. Previous experience is essential! We have in the region of 70 thoroughbred mares to foal down in 2026 and are looking for somebody to take responsibility for monitoring those mares over night. Previous experience of foaling mares is essential, but there will always be someone available to assist as well. We are based in the heart of Kildare, breeding the racehorses of the future and can offer an excellent remuneration package to the right candidate including onsite accommodation. Seasonal or permanent position considered.

Equestrian Employer Details
We are a thoroughbred stud farm in the heart of County Kildare with approximately 70 broodmares. We prep over 70 yearlings for sales each year and also a smaller number of breeze up horses. We buy and sell at all major sales in Ireland, UK & France.
We also stand Flat stallions and offer oprtunity for our staff to learn in any of the areas of the stud they might prefer to work in. We do require that all staff have some previous experience with horses from a safety ascpect but we are happy to share our extensive knowledge to help them to progress within the industry. The size of our team of staff varies seasonally.
