Due to an unprecedented increase in business, Hacienda Horses is seeking another Trainer/Instructor to join our established team for the upcoming season. We pride ourselves on our wonderful staff and high rate of returning clients, and we are looking for a professional who fits seamlessly into our supportive environment.

Contract Duration:

Start: First week of April

End: End of Season (approx. November)

Competitive salary based on experience with full contact and compliance with all Spanish taxes and holidays paid.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction: Deliver professional, engaging lessons to adults and children up to an Intermediate standard.

Horse Training: Train young horses in a quiet, sympathetic manner. You must be able to ride to an Advanced standard yourself.

Horse Care: Assist with stable work, horse turnout, and preparation, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and animal welfare.

Guest Experience: Ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests, maintaining the high standards expected by our returning clientele.

Requirements:

EU Passport is mandatory.

Fluent in English.

Ability to ride to an Advanced standard.

Strong interpersonal skills with both adults and children.

A team player attitude, willing to pitch in with stable duties.

Relevant equestrian qualifications are a distinct advantage.

An ability to be well organised, clean tidy and efficient. Must be able to plan ahead and organise horses for the next day. Must be flexible in their attitude.

Staff have a separate block and their own kitchen. Each member of staff has a separate room with en-suite bathroom. Food is first class and prepared by our chef.
