we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic groom who is passionate about horses to join our showjumping team. as a key member of our yard you will be responsible for the daily care and well being of our competition horses
responsibilites
- Feed, groom, clip and care for horses
- maintain a clean and organised yard enviroment
- assist with tacking up, untacking and washing off
- mucking out
- general yard duties
we require someone who has excellent horse handling and care skills has the ability to work independently, use own initiative and work as part of a team have good communication skills live accomadation is avaible if required

Equestrian Employer Details
We are a private showjumping yard, which breeds and produces top quality showjumping horses. Our horses regularly compete in showjumping competitions throughout Europe. We have three yards altogether, with over 100 acres between them, two menages, one new Andrews Bowen competition size indoor arena and a grass competition ring and a sand training gallop. We have a eight horse covered walker , covered lunge pen and 19 stables with rubber matting on main yard, and three barns for young stock and rehab horses in seperate yard and another farm for breeding stock . There are at the moment three riders competing internationally , several full time staff and part time staff. A shared house is included and use of shared vehicle.
