Riding Pony Stud requires groom to work with other staff at weekends and other times to be agreed on a small friendly private yard. Experience handling stallions and young stock is desirable but not essential provided candidates have proper experience and confidence working with and handling horses.
Duties include:
Mucking out/skipping out,
Feeding,
Grooming and trimming
Turning horses out to the paddock etc
Handling stallions, mares, foals and other youngstock
Early years and groundwork training for young stock, with 3 yr olds progressing to backing.
Requirements
Must have own transport as yard located in a rural location
