Hambro Sport Horses are looking for a motivated, competent, full-time or part time stud groom to join our team in Bedfordshire.

This is a five and a half days per week role or six mornings per week role with paid holiday and pension scheme.

Self-motivated ‘stud groom’ who will use their initiative and has a good understanding of broodmares, foals and young horses.

• Manage their own time correctly.
• Be able to handle broodmares, foals, and young stock confidently. . Foaling down • Complete general yard and field duties to a high standard.
• Ensure that all broodmares and foals are well cared for.
• Assist with pasture management.
• Work independently and as part of a small team.
• Feed and check horses.
• Administer medication when required.
• Assist farriers, vets and other external professionals when required.
