We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player who has excellent all round skills. Keen interest in farming with experience not being required, opportunities gain experience with hands on help. You must be a competent driver and hold a UK drivers licence.
The daily responsibilities will include: Field work i.e. topping, harrowing, rolling, hay and haylage making, muck spreading and straw making. General estate work to include fencing, building and machinery maintenance.
The daily maintenance of the riding surfaces, show area and livery yard. Also helping with other tasks as required, assisting on show days.
Help with the breeding stock and grass liveries and work alongside the boss. There is a large livery business with a big team that also can help with the youngstock when necessary.
This job would suit someone who likes variety, with no two days being the same. This position might suit someone wanting to gain more experience with machinery as tuition will be offered.
