Competent second person wanted to join busy small team at a Stud and Veterinary Centre in Gloucestershire working alongside existing assistant stud manager and under the Stud Manager. You will be required to oversee the day-to-day running of the stud ensuring horse welfare and biosecurity is of the highest standards as well as helping with pasture management and stud team management.
Must be able to work well within a team.
Good leadership and communication skills are essential as well as a high level of equine experience and knowledge. Must be competent handling stallions, young stock and all type of horses and be able to lead by example with high levels of horse care and management. 7.5t licence a bonus.
