Saturday and Sunday, morning starting at 8.30, approx. 4-5 hours; evening starting at 18.00, approx. 2 hours. Job can be split, so please also get in touch if you are interested only in part of it. General yard duties: feed, turn out/ bring in, muck out, poo pick (we have vehicles) etc. Potentially help with teaching the young gelding.

The Animals:

3 horses: 2 friendly adult mares, 1 young gelding, small flock of 11 sheep barn cat, in the future possibly a couple of pet Kunekune pigs

The Place

Small private grassland farm; extensive turnout, extremely well-drained outdoors arena, horses in shared barns or large loose boxes, on shavings beds. The sheep live mainly in the same fields as the horses with shelters.

Currently 2 other part-time helpers.

The Ideal Person:

Nice, responsible and reliable - RELIABILITY IS KEY. Comfortable handling animals, including youngsters.

Must drive and have a car.

Must provide references.

Ideally located close to Four Marks, happy to connect with the other helpers.
