We are looking for an experienced Competition Groom to join our small private event yard near Buntingford Hertfordshire.

This is a hands-on role working with quality competition Horses so we're looking for someone who takes real pride in producing Horses to a high standard and enjoys being part of a friendly professional team

The successful applicant will be confident working independently and capable of taking sole charge when required. Reliability common sense and excellent attention to detail are essential.

The role includes:

All general Yard duties Preparing Horses for training and competition Clipping, trimming and plaiting Bandaging Competition grooming at affiliated events, including stayaway shows Organising feed/bedding orders and farrier/vet visits Some riding, mainly hacking is also required

Applicants must have previous experience on a professional competition yard and be confident handling fit Competition Horses both at home and away it shows

Full UK driving license essential. HGV license and advantage but not essential Living accommodation may be available for the right candidate
