We are looking for a member of staff to join our small team as a competent groom/coach although would consider a keen and experienced trainee. An interest in teaching is essential. Full RDA coach training can be given. This is a 5 day week, a position rarely available at a popular & busy full time RDA Centre in Hertfordshire. 1 day will be at the weekend. Possibilty of shared Single female accommodation for the right applicant. Sorry but no dogs, horses or pets to accompany. To include all usual stable duties. Ability to work well in a team is essential but also to be motivated and able to inspire others. Exercising and bringing on of younger horses and ponies from 14.2hh upwards. Good communication skills are required as we are volunteer based and so appropriate management is required at all times. You will need to have a happy, hard working and outgoing personality with a genuine interest in what we do at the Centre. You will need to be confident working with all types of horses and the volunteers. 5 day week. Days may vary slightly to work around holidays/competition days etc. Previous experience within the equine industry is essential.
