Stable help urgently required We have a vacancy in our small, private, competition yard near Stamford (PE8). Duties include the management of the stables, fields, horses (grooming, tacking up etc.) the family dogs and Alpaca. Personal requirements include reliability, flexibility, good organisational skills & confidence handling large competition horses - ability to work alone when needed. Hours: 3-4 weekday mornings for 3 - 4 hours, possibility of occasional weekend work.

Must be confident around large horses. Training will be given for the yard work as required but we do need someone with some experience. Duties will depend on experience. Ideally Monday to Thursday mornings but occasional other times and weekend days to cover holidays, sickness if mutually agreeable. We currently have 4 horses and a pony. They are out as much as possible but in corrals when weather or ground conditions dictate. They come in to stables as required and normally during the day. All horses are out competing regularly and need to be maintained to a high standard. The ability to drive quad a bonus.
