We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Stable Hand/Groom to join our friendly team at a modern show jumping yard in Penkridge, Staffordshire. Our yard is home to approximately 15 privately owned Warmblood showjumping horses, ranging from youngstock through to competition horses. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of horse care and providing a positive working environment.
About the Role Duties will include: • Mucking out • Feeding and watering horses • Turning horses out and bringing them in • Operating the horse walker • Monitoring horse health and welfare • Administering medication when required • Changing rugs • Grooming and preparing horses • Tacking up • Tack cleaning • Equine laundry • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised yard The successful candidate will be a reliable team player with a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to use their own initiative when required.

Working Hours
• 5 days per week • Weekend work included on a rota basis • Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm

• Previous horse handling experience needed • Good understanding of horse welfare • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
