We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic groom to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of horse care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and passionate groom to become part of a professional team at a luxury equestrian establishment. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail and be committed to ensuring the horses receive exceptional care and attention.

The role will involve all aspects of daily yard duties, with particular emphasis on horse care, preparation and wellbeing. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and will ensure that every horse receives the highest standard of individual care.

Key responsibilities will include preparing horses for riding, ensuring every horse receives thorough daily grooming, and maintaining a keen eye for any signs of injury, illness or changes in behaviour. We are looking for someone who is observant, proactive and attentive to the finer details, ensuring that each horse’s health and wellbeing are consistently prioritised. **Therefore, this role is suitable for experienced grooms only. **

• Experienced in horse care and confident handling a variety of horses.
• Can turn out to a high standard.
• Can clip, plait and bandage to a high standard.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Passionate about horse welfare and attentive to the individual needs of each horse.
• Organised, proactive and able to use their initiative.
• Professional, friendly and well presented.
• Detail-oriented, with pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Flexible and willing to work one weekend day per week.
• HGV license would be a bonus. **Previous yard experience is essential. **

A modern 2 bedroom self contained unit with living room, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and air-con/heating is available on-site. (No pets or partners)
