East Clayton farm is home to many wonderful animals including donkeys, ponies, goats, sheep, pigs, lambs, guinea pigs, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, ducks, a tortoise, a gecko and a bearded dragon.
We're looking for an animal loving individual, with a keen attention for detail, to assist with the care of all our animals. Sunday and Monday morning, 9am-1pm.
Tasks to include cleaning animal accommodation, cleaning paddocks, assisting with field management, provided medical care when needed and performing daily health checks.
On Sunday you will manage a team of regular volunteers to complete animal duties, ensuring they are complete correctly and to a high standard.
On Monday you will work along side our animal manager, volunteers and alternate provisions staff to complete animal duties and assist with animal handling.
The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and a genuine love for caring for a variety of animals. We're looking for a reliable, team player, who has the ability to work in a manner consistent with farm policies and Health & Safety guidelines and is able to communicate any issues or concerns with our animal manager. Experience with the animals listed above is a plus but good attitude and willingness to learn is far more important.
