We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Home & Show Barn Manager to join our professional, fast-paced program. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards, thrives in a structured and efficient environment, and wants the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry.
You will oversee the daily management of the barn—both at home and at shows—ensuring a clean, safe, well-run environment that supports the health and wellbeing of every horse. Riding is optional; the primary focus is leadership, organisation, and management.
Key Responsibilities Include: • Overseeing all barn operations, schedules, and workflows • Managing and supporting a team of grooms and staff • Creating and maintaining daily plans, lists, care schedules, and show organisation • Coordinating vet, farrier, chiropractic, and rehabilitation appointments • Managing horse intake, health documentation, treatment charts, and vaccine records • Overseeing feed programs, nutrition plans, and supply inventory • Preparing for shows, including packing, logistics, and stable set-up • Ensuring the highest level of turnout, barn presentation, and professional standards • Acting as a key communication point between trainers, clients, and staff • Maintaining a calm, structured, and positive atmosphere in a busy environment
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop high-level management skills, be deeply involved in a top-quality show program, and work in a supportive environment where excellence is expected and appreciated.
If you take pride in excellence, thrive in a structured environment, and want to be part of a program that operates at the highest professional standard, we would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to learn, grow, and work alongside top professionals in the industry.
Requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills • Confidence handling fit, high-performance horses • Ability to manage schedules, staff, and daily operations independently • High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining top-level standards • Experience in show-barn settings preferred • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure • Professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic • Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent • Comfortable with structured routines and maintaining efficient systems • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work as part of a collaborative team • Valid driver’s license preferred • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Accommodation
Comfortable housing available for the right candidate. Live-in is optional. The accommodation is clean, private, and conveniently located for easy access during show preparation, morning checks, and evening rounds.
Job Benefits
• Opportunity to learn directly from top trainers and industry professionals • Exposure to high-level competition and show environments • Work within a well-established, respected program • Supportive team culture with clear structure and leadership • Training available for candidates looking to grow their professional skillset • Live-in accommodations available (optional) • Competitive pay based on experience • Consistent schedule and well-organised environment • Opportunity for long-term growth within the program • Beautiful facilities and a high standard of care across the entire operation
