Our school operates on a structured, level-based curriculum rooted in classical European horsemanship. We prioritize balance, softness, correctness, and responsibility—both in the rider and in the horse. This is not a casual lesson program. Instruction is systematic, progressive, and horse-first.

This role is ideal for an instructor who values fundamentals, enjoys teaching children, and wants to be part of a professional, well-defined program rather than improvising lessons day to day.

Responsibilities:

• Teach private and semi-private riding lessons to children (beginner through intermediate)
• Teach grooming, tacking, horse handling, and basic horsemanship as part of the curriculum
• Follow and uphold the Hussar Stables level system and progression standards
• Maintain a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students and parents
• Work respectfully with school horses, prioritizing their physical and mental well-being

Required Qualifications:

• Solid riding foundation (hunter/jumper, dressage, working equitation, or classical background preferred)
• Comfortable teaching walk and trot lessons independently
• Strong understanding of rider balance and position
• Confident handling horses on the ground
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Preferred (but not required):

• Prior teaching or assistant teaching experience
• Experience teaching children
• Lunging experience
• Interest in developing as a long-term instructor within a structured system**
