The Farm Laborer/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the pristine conditions of the Estate under the direction of the Estate Manager. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and appropriate, safe use of equipment is required.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Preventative Maintenance Equestrian Support: i.e. cleaning paddocks, sand rings, horse walker equipment, and grand prix field cleanup. Landscape Maintenance: light irrigation work, planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and watering plants.

Proficient and safe use of the following equipment: Hedge trimmer Lawn mower Chainsaws, Small hand/gardening tools Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

General knowledge of grounds, irrigation systems, landscaping techniques a plus Previous experience working on an equestrian estate, grounds or golf course a plus Must be physically able to bend, kneel, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. at a time Proficient in English, both spoken and written High attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficiency with technology (cell phone/iPhone) including phone applications (WhatsApp) Respect for privacy and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times Must successfully pass all pre-employment and background requirements Current, active driver’s license required Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without required visa sponsorship
