CANTON, GA USA Serious Inquires Only. Full - Time Equine Goom/Caregier Position Available. 5 days a week 8 am - 5 pm including night checks @ 9pm. Single occupancy housing on premises. Private facility with 11 horses. Daily duties include but not limited to feeding/medicating, turnout, grooming, cleaning stalls, dusting, scrubbing/filling water buckets among other projects . Candidate needs to have a strong work ethic, reliable team player, and can work well with others and also independently. This is a drama free barn. Barn Manager is on site 6 days a week. Owner is on site. Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. Braiding will be required at times (running and standard braids) Prior work with stallions is a plus. Will need to know how to drive a truck and horse trailer. Must be capable of taking instruction, have an eye for detail, and ability to recognize any changes in horses (eating habits, swelling, attitude changes, injuries, signs of colic, etc) and report to management. Open loft concept 400 sq ft cottage. 1 minute walk to the barn. Fully furnished and freshly painted. Queen bed, side tables tamps, dresser. Love seat and TV. Misc furniture. Full size kitchen othe oven, sink and large refrigerator. Bathroom full shower/tube.

Onsite single occupancy cottage. All utilities included. After one year of employment you are eligible for 1 week PTO and after 2 years you'll have 2 weeks PTO. For the right candidate we would consider a reasonable relocation reimbursement.
