Canton, GA USA Full-Time Equine Caregiver position available. This is a non riding position without living accommodations.
Salary or Houly rate is based on experience working in a training, show or dressage/hunter boarding facility.
This is a private facility which includes horses, rescue minis, and a donkey. Daily duties include but not limited to feeding/medicating, turnout, grooming, cleaning stalls, dusting, scrubbing/filling water buckets among other projects . Candidate needs to have a strong work ethic, reliable team player, and can work well with others and also be able to work independent. Barn Manager is on site 6 days a week. Owner is also on site.
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. Braiding will be required at times (running and standard braids) Prior work with stallions is a plus. Must be capable of taking instruction, have an eye for detail, and ability to recognize any changes in horses (eating habits, swelling, attitude changes, injuries, signs of colic, etc) and report to management. Serious inquiries only. We are a drug free work place. Verifiable employer references required, legal to work in the US and a valid US drivers license.
