Are you passionate about horses and teaching? Dreaming of an adventure that blends outdoor fun, cultural exchange, and lifelong memories? Join us as a Riding Instructor at our traditional summer camp in beautiful Maine!

RIDE, TEACH, EXPLORE & MAKE SUMMER 2027 UNFORGETTABLE!

Spend your summer doing what you love! Join the equestrian team at Camp Kippewa / Kippewa Equestrian Academy as a Riding Instructor and become part of an energetic, welcoming, and fun-filled summer camp community.

This is your chance to share your passion for horses, inspire young riders, develop your teaching skills, and experience everything that makes an American summer camp so special. Whether you're working with first-time riders or helping experienced equestrians take their skills to the next level, no two days in the barn are ever quite the same!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Teach riding lessons to girls ages 7–17 in a positive, encouraging, and safety-focused environment.

Plan and lead group riding lessons, private instruction, and horsemanship activities.

Work with riders of varying ages, abilities, and experience levels, from first-time riders to advanced equestrians.

Help campers build confidence, improve their riding, and develop a deeper understanding of horse care and horsemanship.

Contribute to the daily operation of a busy summer riding program, including horse care and barn responsibilities.

Be part of the BIG camp moments, including Color War, themed activities, special events, and our unforgettable 4th of July celebration!

Previous summer camp experience is NOT required! We are looking for great horse people who enjoy teaching, love being part of a team, and are ready to jump into the adventure of summer camp.
