ABOUT US

At Camp Kippewa / Kippewa Equestrian Academy, our horses are at the heart of everything we do! We're looking for dependable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to join our summer barn team and help keep our equestrian program running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Working in a busy summer barn means no two days are exactly alike. From morning feed and turnout to stall cleaning, grooming, and daily horse care, you'll play an important role in keeping our horses happy, healthy, and well cared for. If you enjoy being outdoors, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and love being part of a fun, energetic team, this could be the perfect summer opportunity!

Feed and water horses according to established schedules and individual care instructions.

Clean stalls, paddocks, and barn areas to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

Tack and untack horses and assist with preparing them for lessons and activities.

Turn horses out to pasture and bring them in according to daily schedules.

Assist with routine health checks and basic horse care under appropriate supervision.

Maintain an organized barn, equipment areas, and surrounding facilities.

Pitch in wherever needed to support the daily operation of the equestrian program.

THE EXPERIENCE

This is more than just a summer barn job! You'll become part of a close-knit equestrian team, gain valuable hands-on experience in daily horse care and stable management, and spend your summer surrounded by horses and people who share your passion.

If you're hardworking, horse-loving, and ready for a summer filled with teamwork, learning, and plenty of barn time, we'd love to have you join us for Summer 2027!
