Looking for my right hand person for my small hunter/jumper training program in Westford, MA. We typically have 8-10 horses - some young, some old, some hunters, some jumpers. Summers in the northeast with lots of showing in NY, winters in Ocala, Florida.

Duties to include but are not limited to: Stall cleaning 2*day and adding bedding as needed, cleaning and refilling water, feeding hay, feeding grain prepared by trainer, grooming, bathing, basic trimming, tacking up and untacking, hand walking, tack cleaning, wrapping, packing feet, keeping barn area clean and organized.

As with most horse farm work, this position requires heavy lifting, bending, climbing, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching above the shoulders, walking on uneven and/or slippery terrain and other physical stresses; as well as exposure to extreme heat and cold, sun, dust, hay and other common allergens. This position includes outside work in all weather conditions. In addition, Grooms are required to be able to handle horses of all temperaments. Grooms must have reliable transportation regardless of weather conditions.
