Equestrian Specialist Approximately 16 hours per week; flexible schedule, including weekends as needed. Responsible for the care, training, exercise, and overall well-being of the estate horse, including maintaining proper fitness, behavior, health, and readiness for family riding. Provide riding lessons and horsemanship instruction to the Principals, family, and approved guests. Prepare and safely manage the horse and riders for lessons and recreational riding. Monitor the horse’s health, soundness, nutrition, behavior, and welfare, coordinating veterinary and farrier care as needed. Maintain tack, equipment, stalls, and equine areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Communicate concerns and equine needs promptly to the Executive Estate Director. Maintain professional standards of safety, discretion, reliability, and communication. Work cooperatively with the estate team and assist with other estate needs, events, special projects, or emergencies when required. Qualifications: Strong riding and horsemanship experience, proven horse-care and training skills, prior riding-instruction experience, knowledge of equine health and safety, and the ability to work independently with sound judgment and professionalism.
