Private Equestrian Facility - Bedford, New Hampshire

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced horse care professional to join our team at a well-maintained private equestrian facility in Bedford, NH.

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable horse person who enjoys riding, working with horses, and providing exceptional individualized animal care in a private barn setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Riding and exercising four horses, with strong riding and horse-handling skills required.

• Providing attentive daily care for four horses and three miniature donkeys.

• Feeding, turnout, stall cleaning, and other routine barn responsibilities.

• Maintaining the barn, indoor riding arena, and surrounding grounds.

• Monitoring the health and well-being of all animals and recognizing potential health or behavioral concerns.

• Participating in scheduled Night Check duties and responding to occasional animal emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Several years of hands-on experience caring for and riding horses.

• Strong knowledge of equine health, behavior, and safe handling practices.

• Dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as with others.

• Honesty, integrity, excellent judgment, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bedford, NH, due to Night Check responsibilities and/or emergencies. Reliable transportation needed.
