- Provide comprehensive daily horse care including feeding, watering, occasional stall cleaning, turnout, grooming, wrapping, blanketing, wound care, and first aid.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all barns and sheds on the property, organization of the tack rooms and storage areas, and cleanliness of turnout paddocks.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols, promptly addressing hazards, and achieving zero preventable horse-care-related accidents or injuries.
- Assist management with barn routine while contractor visits such as farriers, dentists, facility upgrades are occurring.
- Maintain open communication with management on a daily basis.
- Direct supervision of Equine Students, and Student workers.
- Other duties, as assigned
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day and one night check evening every other weekend

Located about seven miles from Centenary University's main campus, the Equestrian Center features approximately 100 university-owned horses, two indoor arenas (including one heated arena), a large outdoor arena, a grass derby field with permanent jumps, four barns, paddocks, classrooms, and support facilities. It regularly hosts collegiate and national equestrian competitions, clinics, and educational programs.
