Sundman Stables, a dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper training facility located in Marcellus, NY is looking for a farm/property manager. This position would manage day to day care of a small, private competition horse barn. Looking for someone with several years of barn experience manage a beautiful training facility. Responsibilities include feeding, stall cleaning, turnout, and oversight of 3 – 4 part-time workers with 14– 16 horses. Property management, including light equipment maintenance, oil changes and greasing joints, managing mowing and weed whacking of 40 acres. Ideal candidate values excellent horse care and enjoys working in a team atmosphere. A wide range of duties that makes for an interesting day. Salary, plus onsite housing is included. Typical week is a five-day work week.
