Hidden Hills Equestrian is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Barn Manager to join our private facility in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. This is a full-time, live-in position ideal for someone who is passionate about elite horse care and operational excellence. Our facility sits on 30 acres with a 20-stall barn, an all-weather arena, and significant plans for expansion. We are in the process of transitioning to a performance-focused, training-board-only model. Currently, we care for a mix of boarders including retired show jumpers and summer boarders through October 2025. The owner’s two young fillies will be arriving from California in October. Eventually, her full string of performance horses and personal groom will relocate to the farm, as we continue building a reputation for exceptional horsemanship in a region where this standard of care is rare. Applicants must have strong equine management experience, knowledge of equine first aid, and excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation is required. Housing is provided in a private on-site apartment. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience, to be discussed during the interview process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in slowing down from a busy performance operation, to a growing facility, just two hours from Tryon.
To apply, please PM us or send a resume and short introduction to louise@hiddenhillsequestrian.com. Please do not send stock response.

Equestrian Employer Details
We are about to undergo a major renovation to convert this modest horse farm into a showjumping/training facility. It currently has one 14 horse barn and a smaller 6 horse barn. We currently have about 5 boarders of varying experience and disciplines that “came with” the property. It will be a little over a year once it starts for the renovation to be complete. We are relocating our training program from out of state to Banner Elk. Once we personally move in it will be a showjumping training and competition facility.
