Dressage Groom / Barn Professional: We are looking for a skilled, dependable Dressage Groom / Barn Professional to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, professional barn, best suited for someone with solid experience in competitive dressage environments and a true commitment to top-level horse care. About the Role: This position involves both daily Horse work and competition support, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of care for performance horses. It is full time, will include travel to horse shows and possible nights and weekends. We are a motivated, hard -working team but also enjoy a fun and supportive team atmosphere. Applicants must be willing to adjust to our safe and structured handling of the horses and consistent groundwork. Responsibilities: • Full grooming support at shows (tacking, untacking, bandaging, braiding, lunging, etc) • Assist with warm-up, cool-down, and post-ride care • Prepare horses for daily rides and maintain consistent care routines • Hand-walking, grazing, and general horse management • Support basic pre and post stretching, recovery, and conditioning programs • Assist with trailering and travel care (Travel is a requirement) • Work closely with riders, trainers, and team members • Night-checks will be required. Qualifications • 3–5 years of grooming experience at recognized horse shows • Experience working for show barns with multiple horses in training • Confident handling fit, competition-level horses • Strong knowledge of dressage turnout and care standards • Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with long, physical days

What we are looking for: Solid Dressage/Show Barn Experience is required. Must be experienced grooming for a show barn. A strong desire to learn, improve and grow as a horse person. Willingness and commitment to put best foot forward all the time. Ability to travel for competitions, to include overnights and weekends. Strong horsemanship and attention to detail. Positive attitude, reliability, and true team spirit. Someone who enjoys working hard while contributing to a fun, uplifting environment. Must be able to provide 3 professional references. Note: This is not an entry-level position. References and prior experience are required. PTO and 401k are available. There is potential for onsite housing or boarding if it is the right fit. Salary commensurate with experience.

We are a private, equine facility located in Southern Pines and are looking for a mature, experienced Dressage Rider/Barn Staff member to join our team. Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience handling and caring for horses as well as an experienced level of riding/training in Classical Dressage. This is a full-time position requiring up to 2 weekends a month. Weekday primary responsibilities to include exercising and caring for multiple horses in addition to providing support to the barn/staff. Weekend responsibilities to include feeding, turning in/out, mucking stalls, grooming and tacking horses as well as attending shows as needed.
We have a very positive working environment and are looking for someone who is open minded, willing to learn how we train and handle our horses and be a friendly, hard-working addition to our team.
