Participate and asist in the day to day operations of running a full care and training operation for jumpers in their development. Daily chores include grooming, lunging, tacking, riding, clipping, barn organization, holding horses for the vet, farrier etc. The main string of horses is 8 to 10 horses in full training in care ages 5 to 10. There is an opportunity for riding for the right candidate but this is not a riding position this is a position for someone that wishes to become more educated in the care of top sport horses and the production of young jumpers. You will likely be traveling with us to the Horse Show's which includes the winter circuit in Ocala, Upperville, Loudon, Swan Lake, Kentucky, Devon, Princeton, Penn National and so on and so forth.

Housing is provided. locations in both beautiful Upperville, Virginia, and five minutes from the World Equestrian Center in Ocala.

We are family run business we have a good atmosphere and a positive environment. We also believe in best practices when it comes to caring for the horses under our care. We take our time to teach you how we expect things to be done and how we expect the horses to be handled. Taking care of the horses is our top priority. You can learn about all aspects of our operation. You can anticipate to work 5 1/2 to 6 days a week. Roughly from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and rotating turns on night check. There is no mucking out unless we are on the road in which everyone mucks out. Housing can be organized. Bringining a personal horse or pet is not advised unless under unsual circumstances.
