Cypress Farm Registered Miniature Donkeys is a program focused on breeding excellence for performance, pets, micros and wooly registered miniature donkeys. Our program co exists on with Purple Donkey Human Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non profit, focused on long ear rescue and equine therapy. We are part of a private gated 250 acre family farm in Chester SC, between Charlotte NC and Columbia SC. We are hiring 1-2 local or live in assistant barn managers to support our current manager. Applicants must provide previous employer references. responsibilities include feeding, turn out, cleaning, bathing, dealing with minor medical issues and basic halter training. Night check is not required. We are also looking for an experienced maintenance person or couple for tractor work, fence. repair and general farm repairs (not mechanical repairs only basic mechanical knowledge) We are a smoke and drug free environment. PATH or other equine supervisor certification is helpful but not required. Looking for self directed team players with good attitudes. Hands on experience in larger facilities is ideally what we want. Salaries are based on experience and housing allowances.
