Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.

I have no qualifications, I have signed up to start my BHS this year.
I service and manage a large professional service firm through supporting with consulting work and insights.
I have not worked in a professional environment before as I focussed on my college degree and breaking into the corporate world after my degree however I would love the opportunity now to learn and also have the chance to work in this environment.
I compete in showing my Irish Draught mainly so my level of turn out is very high especially with a grey horse. I competed at most big shows last year including the Dublin Horse Show in the RDS so my standard is quite high in terms of turn out.
I would also say I am quick at mucking out and keeping a yard tidy. I do like things quite clean and done to a high standard but at a quick pace.
I got my horse when he was five and he had done pretty much nothing, however he was a very calm headed horse. I have done everything with him myself and got him to where he is today without any professional help and successfully competed last year in the RDS.
I have ridden a variety of horses throughout the years, mainly on the flat. I would not be a confident jumper and will be honest on that. I enjoy flat work and working with poles and doing exercises.
The only competitions I have helped organise and volunteer for are local small ones.
Over the last couple of months I have started freelance grooming, mainly clipping, plaiting, pulling manes and tails, general show prep.
