Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. So far, I haven't completed any equine-related courses. However, at the moment, I am studying to become a riding instructor, and in the future, I am planning on going to a veterinary university. I can't wait to learn more about a horse's anatomy and function. That is one of the reasons why I am seeking a job around horses. I want to gather as much knowledge as possible so that I can use it in the future and eventually put it into practice.
I have been riding horses for almost five years, and for the past three years, I have been competing. I am a horse owner, and most of the horses I have owned were rescues. I know how to take care of them, and I can recognize if there is a problem. I also know what to do in case of emergencies. Throughout my experience, I have worked with horses of all ages, experience levels, and temperaments including young, old, inexperienced, green, and problematic horses.I am passionate about working with horses in any discipline, be it groundwork, training or competing. As mentioned before, I am currently studying to become an instructor and have some experience in teaching beginners as well as advanced riders. I am a fast learner with a good memory, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I am flexible and persistent, and will always strive to do my best.
I consider myself a perfectionist which can be an advantage at times, but it can also be a disadvantage. I enjoy work that is thorough and demanding, and it bothers me when something is not done well.I also take pride in keeping my environment clean and tidy, so I do not tend to have any issues with maintaining a neat and organized yard. Hard work does not scare me, and I do not mind working long hours or doing tasks like mucking out.

I have experience in showjumping up to 90cm classes and some experience in dressage and eventing. I have worked as a steward in dressage, endurance, and showjumping competitions, gaining knowledge about the scoring system and organizing events. Although I haven't worked as a groom yet, I am eager to do so. I am skilled at doing precise and neat mane braids.
