all general yard duties, mucking out, turnout/bring in, loading the walker, make feeds, bandaging, clipping, grooming, tacking up (turning out to high standards) keeping yard and horses tidy. ground working (lunging and long reining).

having worked as a professional groom for several years, i have been fortunate enough to work with top dressage horses and riders including Charlotte Dujardin, Katie Bailey, Zoe Sleigh and Jen Goodman. grooming for these riders has given me abundant experience in handling fit competition horses including stallions, daily care, checking legs, tacking up and very high standards. having studied BSc (Hons) racehorse performance and rehabilitation at Hartpury University, not only do i have practical experience, i have up to date knowledge of the science behind performance horses therefore, how best to care for them with optimal welfare and performance in mind. since obtaining my degree i have been a yard manager for a state of the art equine rehabilitation yard where i have worked closely with vets and paraprofessionals to create the best plan for each individual horse. currently i groom for the dressage barn at keysoe international carig for top horses, presented to a high standard daily
