Initially started riding for free at my land lady’s stables, though my teenage years I rode whatever horses/ponies were available. Since 2006 I have been working my way through education both theoretical and practical. I competed my BHS AI, NVQ3 and a BSC (hons) Equine Studies. I have worked in many different riding schools across the UK, I also recently spent a couple of years teaching and running barns in Canada where I also taught at pony club and riding club clinics. I am currently working towards BHS Stage Four exam and intermediate instructors certificate.
Exercise rider ride and lead work I have ridden in return for riding lessons and taken horses and ponies to unaffiliated and Affiliated Dressage competitions. In Canada I competed in Western Dressage and trained at a classical dressage barn. I have also trained horses for sale or for entering the riding school whilst working. I have also worked as groom for BE eventers.
When I was younger I competed in show jumping competitions shows for fun. Previously I competed in unaffiliated Dressage and show jumping. Summer 2012 I entered some inter house shows at Pippin equestrian centre in dressage show jumping and cross-country. Summer 2013 first Affiliated Dressage 1st place would love the chance to get out and do some more! Summer of 2014 I competed in Western dressage shows.
